Perimenopause and Menopause Education and Empowerment - Single Session or Series Option Available

This 3-week series is designed to educate and empower you as you navigate your journey through menopause, regardless of where you are at right now.

Each week will consist of an informational presentation followed by conversation, community, movement and self-care. You're sure to leave refreshed, relaxed and ready to take on menopause.

Nov 3 - Beat the Bloat: Real Solutions for Midlife Weight Struggles with Kelly Vida, Owner of Empower Her Fitness Batavia

Navigating weight changes and bloating during perimenopause can be frustrating and confusing. This workshop explores the underlying factors that may contribute to these shifts, including hormonal changes, gut health, stress, and metabolism. Through education and discussion, we’ll take a closer look at how the body changes with age and how to better support it during this transition—without extreme diets or quick fixes.

Nov 10 - Thyroid Truths: Finding Balance, Energy and Wellness with Yewande Banire, Family Nurse Practitioner

Feeling tired, foggy, or struggling with weight and mood changes? It might be your thyroid. In this workshop, we’ll explore how the thyroid functions, what happens when it's out of balance, and why it’s often overlooked—especially in women. We'll dive into common symptoms, testing basics, and how thyroid health connects to hormones, metabolism, and energy levels. This is a space to learn, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of how your thyroid could be affecting your overall well-being.

Nov 17 - Real Talk: Periods, Prolapse and Sex in Perimenopause with Leena Bird, Pelvic Floor Therapist Perimenopause can bring a lot of unexpected changes—physically, emotionally, and intimately. This workshop creates space for honest conversation about shifting periods, pelvic floor challenges like prolapse, and how these changes can impact sex and self-image. It's a chance to better understand what’s happening in your body, ask questions without shame, and connect with others going through the same season of life. You'll leave feeling more informed, less alone, and supported in navigating perimenopause with confidence and clarity.
